Katie was born and raised in Sacramento, California. She first started creating art when she was very young and has been refining her skills in the recent years, while trying to figure out who she is as an artist. She has always had a creative passion and art is one of the mediums she uses to express herself. One of her greatest mentors for art is Myron Stephens who is continually teaching her more techniques and challenging her to improve as well as other contemporary and abstract artists. 

She is currently residing in Orange County where she attends Chapman University as a Documentary Major with a minor in Studio Art. She is still discovering what she will do as a career but knows art will definitely be apart of it.
